The Client Loves Purple

Project Overview:

Our client purchased a newly constructed home and hired us to give it a model home designer feel. She loves purple and wanted that to be the predominant color in the room.

We searched for unique and interesting ways to bring purple into the space while also giving her plenty of neutrals to create a light feeling in this oversized living room. One of our favorite aspects of this design was the fireplace. The builder installed a simple tile surround and wood mantle. We wanted to take advantage of the 2 story ceiling and create a dramatic focal point. We used wood veneer and created wallpaper windows up the fireplace wall and layered on organic feeling metal discs.

The size and height of the room commanded a significant sized light fixture and we found the perfect one. We filled the room with soft comfortable large furniture and beautiful pillows. Our client loved the console we found with the hues of green and leaf hardware. We wrapped up the space with dramatic purple draperies and decorative window grills.
