Serene Primary Bathroom

The primary challenge in this bathroom was its limited size and the resulting sense of confinement. Dark tile within the shower and a heavy vanity created a visual “cut-off” effect, making the space feel smaller and more enclosed than it truly was. The goal was to reimagine the layout and material palette to introduce light, openness, and a more expansive feel.

Project Overview:

Breann Bohne guided the selection of materials and features that would visually enlarge the space while enhancing its overall sophistication. A soft, neutral palette was introduced to reflect light and create an airy atmosphere, instantly brightening the room. The addition of a freestanding soaking tub brought a sense of luxury while freeing up valuable floor space, contributing to a more open and fluid layout. The vanity, though similar in size to the original, was reimagined in a lighter finish with refined brass hardware, offering a more elegant and visually balanced presence. Thoughtfully chosen artwork adds a subtle pop of color, introducing personality without overwhelming the design.

The result is a serene, modern bathroom defined by marble-look tile, a sleek walk-in glass shower with warm brass fixtures, and a beautifully detailed floating vanity with ribbed accents. Contemporary lighting and curated finishes complete the space, creating a sophisticated, spa-like retreat that feels both open and inviting.
