Elevated Dining

Designing this dining room required a careful balance between mood and luminosity. The clients envisioned a bold, masculine space anchored by a deep wall color, yet still wanted the room to feel bright, welcoming, and cohesive. Achieving that balance—introducing depth without heaviness—was the central design challenge.

Project Overview:

Breann Bohne approached the space with a strategic interplay of contrast and refinement. While embracing the richness of the darker walls, she introduced lighter furnishings and carefully selected finishes to reflect light and create visual lift. Each element was chosen to enhance brightness without diminishing the strong, masculine character the clients desired, resulting in a layered, well-balanced composition.

The finished dining room exudes confidence and sophistication. The contrast between dark architectural elements and lighter furnishings creates depth and dimension, while the overall design remains inviting and harmonious. It is a space defined by bold elegance—timeless, tailored, and perfectly suited for both intimate dinners and elevated entertaining.
