Adding an Elevator

Transforming the builder-grade entry into a designer’s delight, we also needed to modify the space by enclosing the two-story area to accommodate the addition of an elevator. The result is a welcoming entryway that not only impresses with its design but also prioritizes accessibility and convenience.

Project Overview:

Commencing the project, we redesigned the entry, replacing a two-story curved staircase with a double quarter-turn staircase to facilitate an elevator addition. Closing the two-story ceiling, we crafted an upstairs landing for the elevator. The doors were painted black for a dramatic touch, and a rustic pendant replaced the can light. Furnishings include a root entry console, modern art, an abstract linear bowl, and wood-based glass console lamps, creating a sophisticated and welcoming ambiance.
