Project Overview:

Designing this living room required a thoughtful balance between honoring the client’s traditional aesthetic and introducing a fresh, more modern feel. A key priority was incorporating their existing rug and sectional—pieces with both visual and personal significance—while ensuring the updated space felt cohesive, elevated, and aligned with their evolving style.

A soft, refreshed paint palette immediately brightened the room, creating a lighter, more inviting foundation. From there, carefully selected furnishings with clean lines and airy textures introduced a modern sensibility without feeling stark or disconnected. Accents of green, red, and warm neutrals were layered throughout to echo and enhance the tones within the existing rug, tying old and new elements together seamlessly.

The result is a beautifully reimagined living room that bridges traditional comfort with modern sophistication. The space feels warm, balanced, and intentionally curated—an inviting setting that reflects the client’s personality while offering a refined, updated perspective on everyday living.
